| Freedom Ranch of Missouri – A Capital Campaign Please contact us for our complete campaign details and discuss how your donation can help this project succeed. Naming opportunities are available at certain levels of gifts and will prominently be displayed for recognition of your gift. Freedom Ranch Goes Green! One important aspect of this campaign will be that Freedom Ranch is being built as a Green property from the start. It's not important if you believe in global warming or not. The fact is that "going green" saves money while it saves energy and helps keep our planet healthy. The green features planned for Freedom Ranch will pay for themselves in 5 to 10 years, if not sooner. With the rising cost of utilities, they could pay for themselves in just 2 or 3 years! Freedom Ranch is funded by caring individuals, most of whom have little to spare, but understand the need for a shelter/summer camp such as this. We do not receive government funds of any kind! That's why it's very important to keep the overhead down as much as possible, while providing the best possible care for the battered mothers who seek shelter with us and the children who come to escape the harshness of their inner city lives for a time each summer. When the Freedom Ranch is fully up and running we will be serving some 81,000 meals a year using meat, fruit, and vegetables grown right here on the ranch. We'll save money and our guests will enjoy the freshest and healthiest food of any shelter/ summer camp in the United States.
